FFC - Fishing For A Cure
A big thanks to everyone who helped in so many different ways to make our 2006 Fishing For A Cure event a big success. It takes a lot of help to accomplish an event lie this... $4200.00 was raised for Juvenile Diabetes
Our second event "Fishing For A Cure Diabetes Fund Raiser" is scheduled for August 4th, 2007 at Huey Duck Lake near Reedsburg, WI. As in 2006 it is a fundraiser consisting of a chicken barbecue, silent auction, raffles, and games. The proceeds from this event will go to juvenile diabetes research.
The chicken barbeque will be prepared by the Reedsburg KC's ("The best chicken anywhere"). Games and raffles will start at noon and continue until 6 pm. The chicken barbeque will be served from 2pm to 5pm or until gone. The costs for the chicken dinner is $10.00 for adults, 12 and under $5.00, kids under 3 are Free. We will have beer and beverages available on site. All silent auction items and the $10.00 raffle winners will be drawn at 6pm.
We would also like to welcome a special guest to the Fishing For a Cure - Diabetes Fund Raiser. Casey Fitzrandolf, speedskating Gold Metallist at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics Games. A Wisconsin native, Casey was inspired by fellow Wisconsinite Eric Heiden’s drive for five gold speedskating Medals in the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. At age 4, Casey strapped on his first set of skates and began his Competitive journey into the historical annals of Speedskating. Make sure to stop to meet Casey, ask questions and listen to a short talk by Casey

Huey Duck Lake - The folowing routes will get you there:
From Reedsburg - take Hwy 33 East for apprx 5 miles where you will come to hwy 23 turn Left on hwy 23 go about 1/2 mile, Turn right on Reedsburg Road - Huey Duck Lake will be approx 1/2 mile on your right (south) side.
From Baraboo - Take hwy 33 towards Reedsburg to Hwy 23, turn right on Hwy 23, go about 1/2 mile to Reedsburg Road (First crossroad), turn right on Reedsburg Road Huey Duck Lake is approx 1/2 mile on the right.
From Wisconsin Dells - Take hwy 23 towards Reedsburg to Coon Bluff Road, turn left on Coon Bluff Road, go about 1/2 mile to Reedsburg Road (First crossroad), turn right on Reedsburg Road Huey Duck Lake is approx 1/2 mile on the left.
